Pros

Freedom and no micro management most of the time. Pay is great for this area especially. Benefits are amazing. Management takes the time to train you well. Commissions on top of salary what else could I say man this job is great for someone who takes initiative and likes to work hard and beyond just punching a time clock. This is like owning your own company and to make it here I believe one must own it! If you don't have other business and can really focus on this full time plus time then it will be great for you LORD willing.

Cons

Theres a ton of info to learn and keep learning and it can be overwhelming. Mad details! Need to get a notebook and create a key and number pages to keep track off it all. Work goes home with you. Consumes a lot of time like 50 hrs a week to start to make it work! Deal with negativity, hatred, animosity and rejection from scared people who don't want to be sold to. Yet its funny cause them same people are in sales themselves lol!. 90% or greater of everyone you meet rejects you or ignores you and tries to dodge you. It feels like a waste of time until you get to the person you can help. This job isn't for the weak hearted who need likes and approval of man. You need to have the attitude of "I don't care what you think about me or if you even like me! Im not living for mans approval and likes! I'm here to help people and make sales."

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
