Pros

They talk a good talk. You'll be impressed at first, but don't be fooled! If you decide to anyway, get every single promise IN WRITING! Don't trust a word that comes out of their mouth.

Cons

The most disorganized, dysfunctional company (on every level )I've ever worked for. (And I've been doing this a very long time) From day one it was a hot mess.

Therapists Beware!

Pros

Seniors that you work with!

Cons

Company itself - They use therapists NPI and credentialing to reduce their liability. I also found them using credentials of therapists in other state (where they are currently not practicing ) just to get contracts in those states. They Micromanage - 'Document less as it is time consuming' (which is on your license) ; Usage of CPT codes with higher reimbursement; no regards to HIPAA; poor staffing, not allowed to buy a simple equipment for patient care costing less than $5. I was told by HR, this job is very light and most pleasant experience. None of it was true, patients were skilled nursing level so it was not light work. Requires FT therapists to travel all around the town and have to fight to get even mileage paid. Benefits are pathetic. PTO - 15 for FT INCLUDING Holidays ; You will be working to pay medical benefits. They are that expensive. In short, they are there to make money by using your license.

We want to thank you for sharing your experiences with EmpowerMe Wellness. Much of what you reported above runs counter to what we routinely ask of our therapists and field team members; if this is what you experienced, then we want to make sure we rectify the situation. If you are willing, we would be grateful if you would reach out to us to provide more information about the problems you encountered during your time with us. We are truly sorry to hear your time with us did not live up to your expectations, and we would greatly appreciate any help you can offer as we work to make EmpowerMe a better environment for everyone on our team.
