Where to start? The place is a bureaucratic nightmare, and you will receive conflicting directions directly from your boss's boss's boss's boss and your boss's boss's boss. Meanwhile, your direct supervisor will tell you not to listen to either boss because they don't know what they're doing (which is true.) Honestly, the management team at Entertainment Partners is one of the most baffling systems I've ever worked in... they seemingly promote people who CAN'T do anything into leadership positions. Sort of a "those-who-can't, teach" only "those-who-can't, manage" strategy. As a result, you'll sit in meetings and have your job explained to you on a weekly basis by people that have never come close to doing anything like it. Your feedback will not be listened to on initiatives decided by these people, and if you share feedback regardless, you will be perceived as a problem child next on the cutting block for the near-constant layoff cycle. You'll constantly be told to "put the client first", but severely reprimanded if you don't actually put the company first. For clients? Clients are regarded as constant whiners who don't "get" the software or process and/or don't understand their own needs. This company took a huge downturn once it stopped being employee owned. Its days are very numbered as a power player in the industry.

The CEO is extremely greedy and a self-centered narcissist.and has eliminated most original senior staff to populate the company with his team of "Yes" men. Say the wrong thing that doesn't agree with him and you're out. The CEO concentrates only on share price rather than good customer service and treating employees well. They stuff employees in tiny micro-cubes to build large offices for the top management and executives. The technology is outdated and broken. The environment was once fun but his minions have now made everyone afraid that they're next on the chopping block. Executives are incompetent as they are all friends of the CEO, not good managers. They've lost their way since the founders retired. It is an ESOP but employees have no say whatsoever. The CEO acts like a king and everyone on the staff level is afraid to say anything.
