Pros

Health coverage and coworkers. Ability to work from home. Somewhat flexible hours since there was a lot of work during the night hours.

Cons

Expectations, long hours, disorganization, constant change in direction of company. Management lies about no more layoffs. There will be more. BEWARE!! Another big round of layoffs at EP. Those of you still employed.... BEWARE!! All your hard work and years of loyalty to a company you love doesn't mean anything to the new management. It's all about money and transferring your work to ATMECS (offshore India).

Thank you for your review and your contributions to the company over your tenure here. We appreciate the positive feedback on our health coverage and employees! You’re correct that we have had quite a few transitions lately and are in a transformational period. These times of change can be challenging, yet we feel they are necessary parts of our evolution. We’re aiming to reinvent our industry and simplify processes for our clients, which means we have to simplify how we work. Sometimes this involves very difficult decisions, such as departmental realignment. We greatly value the contributions you have made and hope you find a rewarding opportunity quickly.

Hard Work Not Rewarded

Pros

Great place to learn entertainment industry, health care plan

Cons

Laid off despite being a hard-working, bright employee. Performance wasn’t even a consideration. Fifty people laid off company wide to be replaced with Temps so they don’t have to pay health insurance. Once the company sold, I expected as much. I thought this was a company that really cared about and valued their employees. They sold out when they sold their stock. Nothing about these changes will equal “better client service”. It’s just to make the yearly budget so upper management can get their bonuses.

Don’t trust the good reviews

Pros

If you like to be overworked and underpaid or being bullied by upper management for being a hard worker then this place is for you.

Cons

Zero work life balance. All work and zero time for anything or anyone else in your life. Upper management are all butt kissers. They love hiring their fellow managers’ children and spend all day kissing each other’s butt instead of helping their staff with actual work. Human Resource is completely useless. They make up their own rules along with upper management to protect themselves. Extremely unprofessional and toxic work environment.
