      Toxic Environment. Anti-Training. Avoid!

      Pros

      You get a pay check. Get to work from home during COVID

      Cons

      Very toxic environment. No training even for new employees because people with knowledge either think they are too good or they don’t want share so they have job security. Lots of meetings and things don’t progress because no one has time to do anything (because they are always on calls or in meetings). Leadership team likes to pat themselves on the back and think they have instilled a good culture (they are clueless how bad things are because they are very detached). Long hours. People are afraid to go home or log off because they don’t want to look bad or get more work pushed their way because they are not working late.

      Pros

      The first few years of being with this company went well. I made decent money, but nothing crazy. Had a great manager the first 3 years. The products we sell are top notch in the dental industry.

      Cons

      I've been with Envista since the IPO happened on the Kerr side... They are going through quite a bit of growing pains right now. There is essentially constant uncertainty on whether I will have my job tomorrow or not. To make a long story short... My comp plan has been changed twice this year with little to no communication on how I get paid, I've had 3 managers just this year b/c of constant "realignments", and our VP of sales just got fired. To say that we are in rough waters currently is an understatement. Eventually, they will have to figure this out, but right now is just not a place you want to try and be. 20+ sales reps have either quit or been let go this year alone.
