Pros

The job requires fast learning, and it is very interesting. The more experienced people guide you and help you learn, but they will not hold your hand all the time. Learning to talk to clients and external people. Helps with communication skills. The job gets very analytical when we build new models and algorithms. It is full of problem-solving every day. Fun and smart colleagues.

Cons

It has become hard to be close with everyone because the team has become too big and the office is huge.

Pros

- Work w/ incredibly talented people - Heavy mentoring from seniors - Seniors actually want you to succeed and take on responsibility - Mix of consulting and technology - Exposure to the largest and most prestigious clients in the country

Cons

- Work is hard - not an easy job - Learning the underlying theory and technology side is tough - Working on many different engagement teams requires me to adapt to different leadership and engagement styles (* also a pro)

Not for Everyone

Pros

1. Diversified. A lot of international young people. 2. Snacks provided.

Cons

1. Culture. Just a reference to other reviews. 2. Low pay. 3. Low motivation since the career trajectory is unclear. This is a consulting firm which doesn't pay commission or hourly fee to employees. 4. Not a place where you can enjoy collaboration. 5. People are smart, but not energized. You will be disappointed if you want to make this place home by seeing cold faces. Understandable because not so many people enjoy their lives and job here. 6. Bad wlb. You might have some free time, but there are not too many things to do in Scottsdale between May and November. Not recommended for people moving here alone since I've seen many cases of mental breakdown.
