Pros

-Some people are nice -Their softwares are up to date -A good place to start off for ~1 years of experience into the field of logistics (would not recommend wasting time to stay longer)

Cons

-Terrible trainings with people who do not care about what they are teaching but do it just to get in their yearly 52 hours requirement -Documentation all over the place -NO SALARY INCREASE with promotions. Moving from Level I to Level II means nothing financially. If you stay around for 2 years you'd be guaranteed a 'promotion' -Salary increase is at max ~3k/year in the beginning. Less so as you work there longer. The difference between a good and a bad analyst is ~3-5k. Worthless to work hard. Just do average work and you get the same salary increase. -Low moral -No team building -Expects analysts to be flexible with hours for international clients but salary not justified -Salaried pay but management watches the clock on in/out time. You get a talkin' to even if late by 10 minutes. Can never come in late but they expect you to put in extra hours often -Vacation is 10 days for year 1-2, 15 days for year 3-10. That's right, from year 3 to year 10, you only get 15 days of vacation. Paid time off does not exist even for family emergencies/injuries -Developers should avoid this company - You get paid in the 40k range starting off. That's pretty low for a development position in Seattle -People in supervisor positions that are not capable. They've got supervisors who lack basic social interaction skills and can't communicate to their employees. -No flextime

Pros

Hours are consistent, professional work environment.

Cons

Poor management (police state and accusatory point of view), too many pointless meetings (flavor of the week approach), zero flexibility in type of work (day-to-day tasks become tedious quite quickly), few growth opportunities, success is solely dependent on how much your supervisor likes you as a person and how well you submit to and prompt the Department’s peculiarities; success is not based on quality of work.

Pros

New investments in quality outside CIO, IS restructuring. Decent PTO once you’re here long enough. Actual job is a fun challenge to me, and with the exception of a few bad apples, most coworkers are good at their jobs and good to work with. Finally starting to see more retirements resulting in new blood and newer ways of thinking. Pay is way below industry standard, and varies by employees with similar skills. No cost of living increases. Tied to a bonus.

Cons

Typical “employees are the #1 asset” but in words only. Management are hit or miss in terms of soft skills. Many don’t have the ability to manage people and were just very productive employees who got promoted. Lots of HR nightmares. Cronyism and Nepotism exist here and you never know who you are dealing with. Employee paid health plan where the employer continues to remove RX drugs from their plan and offer poor alternatives. Most middle/ upper management sits in their positions for years wait and hoping someone in upper management will finally retire and cause some change in the ranks.
