Pros

ESI has been undergoing a transformation in the past couple of years. It wasn't easy but it is getting better by the day. There's a new energy around new ideas and projects. There's greater flexibility for employees and more communication with leadership and employee engagement.

Cons

Like any big company, there are departments and managers that could be better. There are great departments doing great work so find the right place for yourself.

Pros

This is a great place to work. Very fair pay. Better than average. Many advancement opportunities if you work hard. As a boss and an employee I couldn't be happier. I have the authority to drive my team's vision and I have been blessed with a great group of people to work with.

Cons

It's not a con but expectations here are high. Annual bonus and pay is more than commensurate with the high expectations but the environment is not for everyone. Do your homework.

Pros

Fast paced roles. Hard working people. Intellectually challenging (in some/ many roles). Going places- I believe we will always grow and overcome market challenges. People seem passionate about the place and serving clients and members. In my department, we work hard and hit deadlines but so have flexibility. New CEO driving a real culture change with emphasis on growing people, training and development, candor, organic growth.

Cons

Very large- you as a person can get lost. They don't yet have great cross department talent management practices but I hear that is a new focus. Hierarchical leadership style but that's changing to be more flat under Tim. Some silos and lack of alignment between competing objectives but again I see that changing.
