Pros

Great co-workers, decent pay till wage freeze

Cons

This company does not care about the patients at all. We used to go above and beyond to get the pt there medication. Not any more. If u can't reach md we cancel the order. Or as we're told "kill it". All express cares about is the stupid boards. Ask the people who do the job instead of dictating.

Pros

The hours are fair, overtime is encouraged and the benefits are great.

Cons

The pay is awful for pharmacy techs, considering the amount of work they are expected to perform. Instead of being treated as the backbone of the operation, techs are treated as expendable robots.Techs with specialized roles are expected to perform in leadership roles with no extra compensation. Trainers, expeditors receive no raise to kill themselves, sometimes without necessary resources to do their jobs effectively. They sign up for these roles, hoping that they will get a promotion one day, but there are rarely any opportunities for advancement.

Not the worst company I have ever worked for

Pros

Pay is decent, PTO is better than average, some of the fringe benefits are also better than average such as tuition reimbursement, Clean work environment, most of the people I work with. There is decent opportunity for advancement (except in Las Vegas)

Cons

1. Healthcare is far below average but I think that is quickly becoming the norm. 2. Considering we are the largest mail order prescription company (PBM) in the US I think its Pathetic that starting Jan 1, 2014 we have to pay 100% of all prescription cost until our deductible is met. I may as well get my scripts from Canada. 3. Very Poor Top down Communication. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. This is true locally as well as company wide. 4.Senior Management spends money foolishly in some plants or projects while laying off or cutting hours in other parts of the country which tells me that senior level management has absolutely no regard for employees.
