Pros

Awesome benefits, wonderful teams and a lot of caring managers

Cons

Mondays and Fridays are fierce. More customer service than actual advocate. Job changes across departments is extremely difficult to manage, almost impossible within the first few years.

Pros

Global company with vast resources. Good pay. Reasonable benefits in Canadian market.

Cons

No strategy. No chance for advancement. Management favours certain teams (customer service for example) over most others. Canadian president is not engaged.

Pros

Pay is great , PTO , benefits , 401k that’s the plus side of express scripts

Cons

No advancement for growth , the schedule is based off of seniority and you will always have to work weekends and nights. You can’t really plan holidays because they may make you work mandatory holidays .

Pros

Health insurance and related benefits are pretty decent. There are quite a few good people who genuinely try their best to make things better at the company.

Cons

Most if not all the teams utilize outdated hardware and software, with extremely slow turnaround time on fixing issues, updating software, deprecating EOL hardware/software, and overall lacking in drive to make things better. Management would rather pay for many outsourced unqualified contractors to act as technical support 24/7 than hire software engineers to develop solutions to their problems. Similarly, management would rather maintain legacy code from the early 2000's than to replace those projects with modern programming languages, frameworks, tools, and technologies. I also personally had a bad manager, who kept pushing for technologies that I believed should have been a much lower priority for us to move forward with compared to the exponentially rising technical debt that we were accruing. This manager also disrespected a coworker who was dealing with an immediate family member that was dying, telling them to prioritize work over their terminally ill relative.
