Pros

You get to work from home

Cons

I could make more money working the drive thru line at the local Chik Fil A. This was fine when I took the job, because my goal was to get my foot in the door in a new field, In 18 months, however, I have been upskilled, trained and promoted. I have been told I am one of the top 20 agents in the department in terms of metrics. My last "promotion" was forced and came with no pay increase, less time off, and inability to seek any other internal positions for 6 months. I had hoped working for a legitimate company would be different in how top performers are treated, but I was wrong. It pays to be bad at your job here as well.

Pros

It pays the bills no commute work from home You can get a raise yearly based on performance Lots of PTO and about 40 hours of PST

Cons

Back to back calls have been non stop since busy season started at the end of 2023, a lot of verbally abusive callers (understandably) no time to follow up on cases Ive used almost all my PST because it was so busy we couldn’t take PTO the first 4 months of the year

Pros

Work from home, Work/Life balance, Decent Health Insurance

Cons

During covid gloated about making billions but didn't want to give out bonuses because they weren't "sure" how covid would play out. Never paid it out. Went through multiple layoffs in 2023 and 2024. Culture was extremely toxic prior to me joining then it went well for a few years before reverting to not a good environment. Indian outsourcing replacing American jobs. Management promotions based on technical skills and NOT soft skills making for horrid managers across IT.
