Steady paycheck Vacation time Incentive bonus each month if you can hit goals If you are a manager of a site that has an apartment you can live on site rent free Store managers are allowed to have 2 days off in a row but not Saturday's Free storage unit for managers

Cons

Health care too expensive and continue to raise rates Hourly pay could be better considering how much work on the property your expected to do Hours not family friendly When your site is highly occupied you lose out on my nice give bonus As an employee you are expected to have a cell phone in case you are needed at the site after hours but you are not compensated for it Assistant managers do not get 2 days off in a row. It is Sunday and one other day the AM chooses Managers are required to work every Saturday Corp office spends money on things that are not necessary instead of putting it in places that will be better spent

**Sometimes Sundays Off **Paid Mileage **Get to outside and Do Inside work. **Get to work with best Coworkers!

Cons

**The Raises should be on Dollar scale vs Cents. **Insurance should be affordable and should have more coverage to it. **My pay is ridiculously low to the amount of work I actually do. My DM'S have been very interactive but don't like the sneakiness that comes with them. And when you go to them about raises and money they laugh it off, but say keep up the great work though! ** They say you can go up but higher up's like to kick you back down. Its very sad when you have better numbers then your Manager but you still are not recognized. **Policies are constantly changing, as well as job description. **Wish they actually listened to our opinions vs only worry about red and green spread sheets. **Not allowed to have Overtime. **Incentive for Assistants SUCK!!

Pros

I've worked for this company for over 5 years. Originally it was just a stepping stone until I found another job that I really liked. However, as a whole ESS takes the time to listen to their employees in the field. They are reasonable with their expectations. The work is challenging and keeps you busy. They respect you and recognize your personal accomplishments. Pay is decent for what we are expected to do. They want to develop and promote as many employees as possible, so its a great launching pad for your career. Great hours, decent benefits, good management. Great place to work!

Cons

Most Saturdays are required. As a large company they can be fairly strict on certain things. There are slow periods in the winter, sometimes. With generally only two employees working per site or if there is someone that leaves ESS, your schedule is sometimes difficult to have exactly want you want off; this is uncommon though.
