Pros

Coworkers were great and I have met some awesome clinicians. The clients were the reason I held on.

Cons

I could not agree more with the two reviews from Sept 11 and Sept 18. That was a nice move Fox, submitting a review that was a 5/5 from your own company, shameful really. The only people that like the “flexibility” are the ones working shorter hour days with families, and even then, this job is hell. It is ALL true about unpaid mtgs, possibility of owing the company money, no reimbursemant for gas and/or mileage, and using hard earned PTO and vacation time for cancellations (Yes! that even means if they have an emergency admission to the hospital). Fox will find a way to take your pay and make you unhappy. Or maybe you’d like to take the micromanaged route. It won’t break the bank, but if you’d like to feel like a “Fox Fit” robot who is a micromanaged and experience burnout faster than you can say point of service, than this is a job for you. I have seen too many good clinicians go already. Please don’t waste your time with this company if you want even a decent work life balance because it will not happen. I feel bad for those that are still there. It’s a shame because in the beginning it feels great and you reall want to make it work, but don’t fall for that garbage.

As we celebrate our 20th year, we’re looking for many more rounds of fighting to abolish ageism. We give our clinicians the autonomy to manage their own schedule. This is done by making clinicians salaried. With that comes a different set of expectations than what you’d find elsewhere in health care with hourly positions and other compensation models. Regarding weather, though, there are few practices that will close while still compensating its team. As for our positive reviews, Glassdoor states, “Invite current employees to provide honest feedback to help showcase your company’s transparency.” That’s what we’ve done. Here’s the email we’ve started sending out: “We’d love it if you would take a moment to review FOX on Glassdoor! As you may know, Glassdoor is a website that job seekers use to research companies to help them make educated decisions about choosing who to work with. It’s important that our employees provide continuous feedback on what it’s like to work with FOX, so we can continue attracting great talent like you! And though one of our fundamentals is to practice Team Spirit where it is our responsibility to discuss issues so that we can make things go right, we also use employee feedback on Glassdoor to as a way to improve our practice. I’d ask that you spend no more than 15 minutes on this and to be honest. Remember, all the feedback is anonymous.” We welcome all feedback, positive and negative. Your review is no different. Honestly, we appreciated how you wrote the “faster than you can say point of service” line. To truly comment on that, though, we are sorry to hear you felt burnt out. This shouldn’t happen. We work every day to make life better for our clinicians. We hope you’ve shared these concerns with our leadership prior to leaving. We also wish you and your future clients the best as your career continues.

Pros

They will hire you on the spot and are very friendly in the beginning. Good coworkers and patients.

Cons

Mandatory unpaid meetings at 7 am that are an hour drive away and are scheduled in blizzards, condescending regional manager who could care less about anyone’s health or safety, poor technical assistance and faulty computer, lots of high expectations to work for free on demand, unpaid mileage, and yes, you have to use vacation time if a patient cancels. I understand what bedtime means about the cult atmosphere. It was weird. I feel sorry for the people who think they can’t find a better job. I did home health for a local hospital prior to taking this job, and it really was a huge let down as compared to my previous experience. I’m so glad I left and would say please don’t subject yourself to this kind of treatment. We are therapists and deserve to be treated as human beings, not money making robots.

We encourage communication, and it’s a matter we’re striving to improve upon. Our leadership reads and helps respond to each of these critical reviews. As we always state, we hope you’ve shared these details prior to leaving our practice. To dive into the specifics of your review, we are here to make things go right because we know, and repeatedly state, that happy and well-trained people make great healthcare. Hence, every decision we make is with you in mind. This is a big factor in why we’re primarily clinician owned and operated. Our clinicians are salaried, so nothing is “unpaid.” In fact, with benefits such as unlimited free CEUs via MedBridge, a 401k match, competitive and steady healthcare, and our PACE program just name a few, we strive to provide everyone with an exchange of abundance. While we’re disappointed to read this did not resonate with you, please know we appreciate your time with us!

Disasterously bad company

Pros

Usually pay well. They're not firing people as much as they used too also

Cons

This company will use you and lose you. They fire people all the time if you're not a "fit". They have Regional Directors write fake reviews on this web site all the time. Like it's actually an enormous initiative for them to clean up there online presence because people hate this company so much. Read all the positive reviews.. they all talk about "evidence based clinical continuing ed". Literally who would say that in a review? Do. Not. Work. Here. Super unethical company.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write this review and express your concerns. However, your accusations of FOX being unethical and posting fake reviews are completely false. We provide resources, guidance and training to our therapists to help guide them with ethical decision making. We have always held each other to the highest ethical standards. Additionally, we do not solicit reviews. We feel the number of clinicians currently working with the practice, their many success stories and our low turnover rate achieve are the impetus behind our good reviews on this platform and tell the true story about working with FOX. We are sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great experience working with our practice. We’ve always stated that working with FOX is not for everyone as we are not a typical practice. We look for people who realize the value of clinically-excellent care -- beyond just the term itself. We wish you the absolute best as your career continues. Kind regards, Liam McKenna and the FOX Rehabilitation team
