Pros

- Amazing tech and people working on it - Great peers who are smart and dedicated - Free lunch and snacks - New office

Cons

- Toxic culture -Diversity is all talk, no action. Books clubs don't do anything. - CEO is too involved in everything - from what I hear on the business side event more than in engineering.

Pros

- The people are by far the highest quality out of people from any company I've worked with. On average the technical strength is significantly better than e.g. Google engineers, and the sheer empathy, understanding, and friendliness of people is somewhat unmatched at any other company. - Work/life balance outstanding for a startup. No pressure to work extra hours - Management is very experienced and empathetic - Culture is extremely inclusive and diverse - feels like management genuinely cares about making people feel welcome and included with their coworkers - Work is extremely high-impact: work feels like it is affecting the company as a whole - Personal growth rate very fast. Because of the amount of ownership you get, you naturally pick up skills from everywhere in the company - Very little politics and bureaucracy due to the size of the company. Very low overhead to making a genuine impact - Company trajectory is very positive, feels like we are becoming the leader in the UI/UX design software market space

Cons

- Work is somewhat less structured than you would get at a large company (think less meetings/presentations and more informal 1:1 chats) - Product has a high level of technical complexity - good or bad depending on what you're looking for - It is still a pre-IPO smaller company, so stock compensation will be more volatile (higher risk/higher reward than a larger company)

Pros

+ loads of interesting tech and opportunities to build + incredible product/market fit + strong engineering culture + super smart, introspective company + authenticity is in high-supply, company walks-the-walk w/ diversity and inclusivity

Cons

- flat organization means that meetings can tend to be large and ownership ambiguous, but not remarkably so compared to industry norms - sometimes there is simply too much to do, requiring compromise
