Pros

The camaraderie built between teammates was stupendous. The money was great.

Cons

Ivy League college graduates taking over district manager positions that really never ever had real life work experience made it impossible to come work with a great attitude. They would tear you apart instead of trying to pump you up. Prior district managers and district staff used to be able to do that. They pay their technicians pennies and expect them to make miracles. This used to be a premier place to work now you don't even want to drive to work.

Pros

There are several locations so transferring is always a possibility when required and there is opportunity for advancement. The training programs for retail personnel are some of the more extensive I have experienced. Income potential is good for anyone who can move up to store manager or beyond.

Cons

Advancement is all about the numbers and much less about the service which leads to dishonest and deceptive sales tactics both between the salespeople and the customers and between salespeople themselves. Several upper management personnel seem to lack proper business etiquette and social skills (most likely related to the previous statement of being promoted for sales alone and not for service). Starting pay is a bit on the low side for anyone with more than a few years of retail experience and/or a college degree.

Pros

I'm in a busy shop so the day goes by quickly. Everyone likes to make money so we all work hard. And everyone is honest and truthful.

Cons

Don't screw up. Or you'll be gone. Doesn't matter how long you've worked there. LONG HOURS at crappy pay.
