Pros

Compensation Remote WFH positions Flexible PTO

Cons

There has been a discernable shift since key leadership left in the culture at Five9. Workloads increasing, and some concerning changing around RTO and bonus structure that were not adequately addressed by leadership before implementing. A few others and I that had brought up diversity concerns to HR were put on vague "PIPs" despite being star employees prior, and let go with very little severance, or resigned because of the unfair treatment

We appreciate you sharing your perspectives. Our culture is vital to the success of our business, our customers and employees. We work diligently to maintain an environment which allows all our Five9 team members to feel comfortable sharing their knowledge and experience as we all work to bring joy to our customers. We regret to hear that you did not feel this was true during your years at Five9. We agree that diversity is something Five9 should continually be working on and supporting. Working toward addressing diversity at the hiring stage as well as within our Five9 community through the introduction of bias training and continued support of our ERGs is just the beginning! We wish you all the best.

Overall Disappointing Experience

Pros

Fun events, good company culture and location and was good to experience an IPO. Benefits are ok.

Cons

Pay is not competitive, nepotism is annoying among leadership and I didn't feel my role was important. Legacy employees are blockers to the company success and leadership fails to make good decisions on company direction and staff. No growth opportunity for me because leadership only cares about certain departments.

Pros

Gives good RSU benefits and ESPP

Cons

No training , no compassion at all, my manager was so much disinterested and disrespectful since day1. No flexibility at all , I had to choose between my two appointments which one to go for, and when my brother in law passed away I went on bereavement leave and after returning from leave they fired me, such insensitive and inhumane behavior. They gave me performance as a reason for the termination, where as this is completely false, I was excelling in my performance however I wasn’t provided proper training. My manager seen me as a competition and a threat to her so she eliminated me in very immoral way. I regret investing my time and money in this company.
