As a colocation data center you will work many different customers who have an array of technologies. Due to small number of employees you will also help with many tasks outside of your normal role giving you a lot of experience with everything that happens in a data center. Second shift with 4 10 hour days is fantastic.

Since we work to support our customers 24/7 and support our other team members, we do go outside the scope of our job descriptions to "get the job done". At the end of the day..........we CARE. We care about each other and about our customers. We hope that giving access to responsibilities that are outside the norm only adds to a positive variety of professional challenges.

Salaries are not competitive at all, growing pains, HR, lack of leadership opportunities or career growth, leadership is too focused on the board of directors goals.

Thanks for your review. We work hard to drive a performance culture at Peak 10. As such, we try to recognize good performance through different avenues. We offer our employees more than just a pay and bonus structure. We work hard on offering our employees good professional development, a great culture and good benefits. For example, we offer unlimited PTO and regular opportunities to help community programs (often during work hours) in an effort to "give back". Also, we are working hard to formalize our learning and development efforts which is why we onboarded an L&D leader about 9 months ago.

Pros

Great people to work with. All strong technically, team oriented atmosphere. You get to work with some of the "bleeding" edge packages. Good environment, with some good perks. Management genuinely cares about their workers. Still growing and expanding.

Cons

Poor communication of policies and company direction. Currently struggling to find their place with some of the bigger Solutions companies (Rackspace, TerreMark, Windstream, Amazon, MS Azure). Upper management is changing (for the good???).

We truly do care about our employees and manage using our values for our decision-making. I am sorry to hear about the view you have on our communication of policies and company direction. Since our last employee survey about 18 months ago, we have tried to meet with our employees every 6-7 weeks to communicate on our strategy and financial performance. We'll continue to work hard at this because we believe communication is the key to organizational clarity.
