Pros

Was once a reputable datacenter company. Unlimited PTO if your in a department that you can use it (Sales, Professional Services, Management). Some work from home opportunities. You might have a shot at advancing quick due to all the people that built the company leaving. If you're joining sales you might make some good money but you'll have a terrible product to sell and little support. I'm having trouble thinking of any more.

Cons

I'm not kidding when I say moral at this company has gone down the tube. Terrible benefits for a company of its size when they used to be awesome. They like to disguise terrible events, changes, and culture in good words and show repeat signs of neglect towards employees. Just search linkedin for anyone that worked there. You'll see many have left recently. Most that have stayed have retention bonuses or terrible stock options that need to vest. Most of all, its terrible watching a company you watched go through so many acquisitions, finally plop over and prioritize dollars over employee happiness, and have anyone talented walk out the door. HR is pretty much there to deflect issues as long as possible so they can either pull a Toys R Us bankruptcy after the investors pull out all the money or the company goes public eventually. Promotions and raises were promised over the last year and many were disappointed with low or no raises. They have fired off many roles just to improve the bottom dollar. Most of the east coast teams are more about power and politics then knowing what they're doing.

Pros

Some teams still look to promote from within.

Cons

The hire from within culture is gone now that support functions have been centralized to two main locations. Advancement into Service Support used to be a next step from onsite technician, now that's reserved for those who choose to relocate, or already live in Denver or Charlotte. Health Insurance has increased with little to no pay increases. Pay is well below average for many positions and markets. Team building events used to occur in each market every quarter. Now all we see are pictures of "Leadership Summits" which look like fun, but something most of the company never attends or gets to see. Our last team building event was over a year ago. There's been too much change. There's not stability in processes and things you learned one week are out dated by the next.

Thank you for your feedback. As of now, we have decided that our best fast-start for employees through the technical career path is to collapse Service Support into our Denver and Charlotte locations. We do have relocation dollars available to do this, but we do understand it is hard to relocate. We do have some virtual-based positions so keep an eye out. We post them on Careers or use our employee skills database to search / match to those opportunities. In terms of team building, we have monthly events fleet wide so I hope you are participating! We are smack in the middle of the March Madness bracket, viewing parties and tailgating at the moment and looking forward to the annual picnic, Take Your Child to Work Day, Take Your Dog to Work Day, Pride month, Women's History month - the list goes on! If you aren't digging those events - try on a Wellness Challenge (Step It Up or the Hydate Challenge) for size. In terms of benefits, we offer a total benefits package to our team that includes an increased 401k match, increased life insurance, improved PTO, maternity / paternity benefits - this just names a few of the enhancements.

Pros

Not a thing at the this point in fact its pretty bad

Cons

Health plan is not as good as what we had before so what you increased the 401k I cant afford to put more into it as you are pay us way below market. Employees now have to pay for our uniforms. Laying off people who knew how to do important tasks and just dump it on to groups that have no clue how to address the task or even have the credentials to. So under staffed can’t even utilize the so called unlimited discretionary time off. Employee programs are gone they now put us in a drawing for a engraved lightsaber or have beer swap or ice cream. First of all lightsaber?? who cares beer and ice cream is cool if your not trying to be healthy so you can not get charged on your next company required health assessment for a discount.

Thanks for your feedback. We don't ask employees to pay for their uniform aka company branded apparel - that is fully provided and refreshed each year. There is a company store where you can buy ADDITIONAL Flexential swag at very reasonable prices. Again, this is optional. We provide you company branded apparel when you are a customer-facing employee. In terms of our employee events - we try to offer different programming at different times with different focus so we offer something everyone can enjoy at some point - BBQs, World Cup viewing parties, beer swaps, ice cream socials, fitness challenges, chili cook-offs, margarita days.........we want to have fun and come together! In terms of rewards and recognition - our Star Awards program has a cash award in addition to a cool light saber to memorialize your accomplishment. We think it's pretty awesome to get both. Last but not least, our wellness program has 3 components to earn you a premium rebate - none of these require you to "get healthy". Instead, we are trying to increase your general awareness of healthy behaviors. If you complete the program, you earn $600 annually in premium rebates.
