      Pros

      The service the company provides to the community is a positive one, and you'll be helping to fulfill that mission. You may have the opportunity to wear "many hats" and be introduced to a variety of tasks. Most importantly, you get to work with some awesome people.

      Cons

      Every employment scenario has pros and cons, and this organization is no different. You may be asked to do something one day and the complete opposite the next. Be flexible, role with the punches, and don't take anything personally. Remember your "why" and you'll get through it. If the situation isn't for you, then move along and find greener pastures. Life is too short to be unhappy.

      Pros

      The leadership team, the staff, and the mission of the company are all dedicated towards improving lives and helping our society. This company has core values and sticks to them, and it shows with our work and culture.

      Cons

      There really aren't other companies, especially laboratories, that are as good or invested in making a difference, like Forensic Fluids Laboratories. That in itself is a con, more companies should care about the lives of their staff and those they serve. At FFL, you get both!

      Unworkable Manager: Creating Constant Instability and Hindering Productivity

      Pros

      One of the things I appreciated most about working for this company was the emphasis on work-life balance. I felt that my employer genuinely cared about my well-being and understood the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

      Cons

      I t was truly an exhausting experience to have worked under the management of this company. Particularly due to the unworkable nature of our manager. Dealing with their incessant demands and unreasonable expectations was like stepping on a turd every day - it was messy, unpleasant, and simply unacceptable. Not only did this manager's behavior create a sense of constant instability within the workplace, but it also hindered the progress and productivity of the entire team. It felt like walking on thin ice, never knowing when things would suddenly shift and throw everything off-balance.

As part of our weekly Level 10 meetings everyone has the opportunity to Identify, Discuss, and Solve issues such as those referenced in your feedback. (Review sites like this can be valuable for prospective job seekers, but we encourage the reader to think critically and be wary of comments like this in today’s world of paid Amazon reviews and ChatGPT clones.) This is an unfortunate reality of Glassdoor allowing reviews of a company by anyone, regardless if they have ever worked there.
