A new outlook on manufacturing
Pros
It’s an inclusive and honest environment. We attack problems head on, eyes wide open with a positive attitude. Effects of rapid growth are evaluated based not only on desired outcome but how to adequately ensure employees are treated well. Scaling at this rate is hard and presents challenges that I have not encountered in manufacturing. How we work as a team to approach those problems and encourage collaboration at all levels for solutions makes the challenge very rewarding. Pay and benefits are excellent. This is the most challenging and exciting work environment I have been a part of. The manufacturing associates and engineers are the best I have had the opportunity to work with in manufacturing.
Cons
At some engineering and management levels there can be periods where work-life balance can be challenging. Those scenarios are recognized and discussed.
