Pros

- Every day, you come into work and know that the work that you do matters. The mission of the company is incredibly meaningful and worthwhile - on multiple levels - and you as an individual can see the impact you're having every day. - Form takes care of its employees. Employees are given strong compensation and great benefits. - You will work alongside some of the brightest and most motivated people you've ever met. Your peers inspire you to become an even better version of yourself. You'll achieve things you didn't even know you were capable of. - The company is undergoing tremendous growth. If you join, you could find yourself really excelling and taking your career to a whole new level. - The company is doing a great job of ensuring it has a diverse workforce and that all perspectives are welcome. It practices what it preaches here.

Cons

- For some, the work load can be a bit much. But I personally haven't minded the hard work - and actually enjoy it - because the work is so fulfilling and the people you're doing it with are great. I've also found that the company deeply cares about the well-being of its employees. You can still maintain a healthy work-life balance while working at Form.

Pros

Working with Form Energy's groundbreaking battery technology is genuinely exciting and presents unique challenges to the workplace. While not every workplace is perfect, the atmosphere is generally cooperative, friendly, and inclusive, fostering collaboration and issue resolution. Compensation and benefits are decent plus snacks galore.

Cons

Form Energy grapples with a range of concerns. The high turnover rate reflects an unhealthy work environment. Employee well-being isn’t always a priority, leading to issues like a less-ideal work environment spilling into home life. Form is an extremely Liberal company that contradicts itself with the treatment of employees and core value alignment. Their core values of Humanity, Creativity, and Excellence are mere lip services, as dedicated efforts and countless overtime are unrecognized and unrewarded. Initially promised amazing benefits, pay, and flexible schedules, only to slowly strip them away. Decision-making is top-down, with no regard for employee input, creating segregation between different job titles. Funds are squandered on unnecessary expenses, while employees are overworked. Work-life balance is nonexistent. Form’s expedited push to get a product to market fails to embody its own stated value of Humanity by requiring overtime and sacrificing work-life balance. There is no job security, where you constantly feel like you’re walking on eggshells. Voicing concerns may have consequences and anonymous surveys are anything but. Despite claiming to be green, they neglect recycling and generate excessive waste. Form Energy appears to be embracing “Tesla Culture,” prioritizing profit and selfishness over employee well-being. With a surplus of managers and poor communication, the left hand rarely knows what the right hand is doing.

Pros

I've enjoyed working at Form for about two years. The product is interesting, the work is exciting and challenging, and the company has an ambitious plan with enough money to accomplish their goals.

Cons

The tides are changing as Form becomes a household name. Lots of new management hires are implementing a stricter work regimen that values overworking employees more than keeping them happy. The values that they hold as paramount are now being sidestepped to save money and expedite to get the product to market faster. It went from pretty good work life balance to consistent 50+ hour weeks with no end in sight. The pay is below average. The facilities need a lot of work and feel outdated.
