The shifting healthcare environment is certainly a challenge right now. Our clients and families really help us keep in mind what meaningful work we do.

Pros

Fraser is a leader in the disability services world. We have a culture that puts the individuals we serve first and we also offer a supportive team in which to work! As a Director at Fraser I have been a part of business decisions to continue services despite financial deficits due to low reimbursement rates, thus demonstrating how mission driven this organization really is. We also have many opportunities for career advancement with career paths being drawn up and expanded frequently. I actually started as a developmental trainee in our clinical autism program and have moved up to more direct care, then supervision, then program management, and now director over the years. Fraser has a robust PTO benefit and is one of the only organizations that has been able to consistently contribute up to 5% of an eligible employee's annual salary without an employee-required match in retirement benefits. We continue to grow and are able to give annual pay-for-performance salary increases due to our strong presence and excellent services provided in the community.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of a con about working at Fraser! I feel grateful every day for finding Fraser and joining this great organization so soon out of college.
