Pros

Learn the ins and out of being taken advantage of by a corporate entity, zoom fatigue, and being looked down on by your peers.

Cons

Low pay, fractured departments left marketing collateral wanting at best, terrible lower management, CRM is a mess, the tools are not better than anything else out there, same tools different names.

Pros

Executive Leadership is solid and has a strong vision for the company. IPO could happen if they get their processes figured out.

Cons

There really is no sales process here and the new mid-level managers lead by fear and not execution. There's no HR so things are done and said that managers can get away with. I have heard things in team meetings that would not fly at any other public company with HR. Stop hiring mid level managers that have no experience managing account executives. Mid level Salesforce politics are seeping into the company and ruining the spirit.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. You're absolutely right about the fact that there was not a formal HR function for a period of time as Freshworks scaled in North America. I joined as the HR leader for North America in October 2019. I've set up a function and we have policies and processes that you would expect at any other company. A fast paced, fun work place with a lot of talented colleagues. The environment motivates you to get work done. Help with anything is always a seat away. Flat hierarchy. Encourages learning, knowledge sharing, and being a better human being.

Cons

You'll feel the pressure of working in a fast paced company, and that might get to you.
