Fulcrum gives me the ability to learn new technologies and find the right solution for the right problem
Pros
Working at Fulcrum there is no shortage of difficult real-world problems for us to solve. We are given freedom to research new emerging technologies and third party libraries and to use them as needed to solve our problems. This gives us the ability to always find the best solution for the problem at hand. It also means that for me, as a Software Developer, I am able to continuously learn and expand my skill set. Over the years I have had the opportunity to wear a number of different hats - and to participate in virtually all phases of the SDLC. I love working at Fulcrum because of this broad array of experience and learning I am able to consistently indulge in. In addition to this there is plenty of PTO, incentives, bonuses, and a long term incentive program that mimics stock options.
Cons
We are given a green field to develop in so at times it can be difficult to determine requirements. This can also lead to uncertainty on if a project is truly done or not, but it just takes a bit of discipline to ensure things are wrapped up.
