Pros

Fast paced and working with good customers at times. The feeling of helping someone find a place to live when they really are in need.

Cons

Management changes constantly. Company acts as if they are selling a home, but once someone is moved in they do not care about their opinion. Have to deal with a lot of angry residents because of the safety and quality of the communities. Incredible horrible training, you are just thrown into the fire.

Lies to prospecting and current residents

Pros

They seem to care about the work they do but it's layers of BS. You are told to smile, be courteous but lying to them residents all in the same breath.

Cons

We are told to show these immaculate models and the rest of the apartments often look horrible. Duke Manor for one. They dupe new residents into thinking you are going to get exactly what the model has to offer. Now, we all know it won't come with the furniture but once you show the actual apartment the resident will be getting the look of disgust appears. It's rather embarrassing. They have signed leases based off a lie you will be getting what the model showed and in some respects you do, the kitchens are remodeled but covered up. The cabinets are new but the inside of them aren't they just painted them. Bugs are crawling while residents are looking at the apartment, the model features brand new wash machines and dryers and that's NOT what you get. We are told to say oh we will get you those replaced when they have really said well if the old ones are broken strive to fix them first instead of doing exactly what we told the resident that they would be brand new. If the lies stop we wouldn't be bombarded with calls and emails of service requests. Things being placed in the apartment work for a few days or less and they are broken again. The space is too small to be charging these residents the amt of money they sign leases for. I honestly feel sorry for them.

Nothing positive about it !!

Cons

Owner is a true slum lord. Only cares about lining his pocket. Expects on site staff to fix things with band aids. Should of known when I started with company when Corporate office did not even have the name of the Company on the building and had electronic entry to building ?
