As w/ most major corporations payroll can be tight and an issue.

For such a fast growing company advancement opportunities seem limited once you hit store manager. Unrealistic expectations from middle and upper management lead to eye rolling goals and directives. After the merger a lot of good executives that understood what it meant to manage a store left, leading to a disconnect between stores and the home office. Time off is very hard to take as payroll is constantly being cut. Managers are forced to compensate by working 50+ hour weeks diminishing what would be considered an ok salary to a laughable one. There is a severe problem with work vs. life balance here. Too much time is devoted to redundant tasks leaving less time to actually help customers, whom they want us to drop everything for but there is not enough time in a day to actually do both. Much more to say but bottom line, the bigger this company gets the worse it treats its people leading to high manager turnover.
