      Supportive team with flexible hours but demanding schedule

      Pros

      Incredible team of driven people. Everyone I've worked with is so knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. Although I am fully remote, I've always felt supported by my team and manager. There's a lot of opportunity to transition within the company or grow within your preferred role. This is also very dependent on the manager, but some teams are pretty flexible with work hours and locations. There is a level of trust and honor that many other companies or managers may not give. I am also incredibly proud to work for a company where over 58% of the workforce is women.

      Cons

      Despite the flexible hours, work-life balance is difficult. Working on a global team, there are often late-night or early-morning meetings with teammates in other countries. It's manageable, but definitely not your average 9-5 (depending on your role; this applies to most). There have also been quite a few restructurings throughout the years, which are always a bit difficult to adjust to. Working here requires a strong level of independence, with a learn-by-doing approach rather than hands-on guidance.

      Pros

      I feel very fortunate to have joined GenScript. Over the past 20 years, I have not worked at many companies—this is only my eighth—but it is truly the best position I have had in my career so far. The working environment is relaxed and supportive, my colleagues are friendly and collaborative, and my manager is genuinely caring and attentive to the team. What makes GenScript especially outstanding is its strong culture of innovation, integrity, and commitment to excellence. The company not only delivers high-quality products and services, but also invests in its people, encouraging professional growth and recognizing individual contributions. There is a clear sense of purpose in the work we do, and it is motivating to be part of an organization that strives to make a meaningful impact in the industry. While I cannot speak for everyone’s experience, I can say that I am truly happy working here and feel proud to be part of such a great company.

      Cons

      Like any growing company, there are still areas for improvement. Communication across teams and regions could sometimes be more streamlined, and processes may not always be fully standardized, which can occasionally lead to inefficiencies. In addition, as the company continues to expand rapidly, workload and priorities can shift quickly, requiring employees to stay flexible and adapt to changes. There may also be opportunities to further enhance career development pathways and internal communication to support long-term growth. Overall, these are common challenges in a fast-growing organization, and there is clear effort from leadership to continuously improve.

      Good enviornment

      Pros

      GenScript provides a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where employees are encouraged to explore practical solutions and contribute new ideas. One of the aspects I appreciate most is the opportunity to apply 3D printing to real operational challenges. The company is open to these initiatives, allowing me to design and implement custom components that improve workflows and generate measurable cost savings. This level of trust and flexibility reflects a culture that values creativity, engineering thinking, and continuous improvement. In addition, the team at GenScript is very supportive and approachable. Colleagues are willing to share knowledge, help troubleshoot problems, and work together to reach common goals. The friendly atmosphere makes it easy to communicate across functions and learn from experienced engineers, which has greatly accelerated my professional growth. Overall, the combination of hands-on engineering opportunities and a positive team culture makes GenScript a rewarding place to work.

      Rapid growth can create process gaps: Some procedures and documentation may still be evolving, which can lead to unclear responsibilities or temporary inefficiencies. Resource constraints: Certain projects may need to be completed with limited budget, equipment, or manpower, requiring employees to be very flexible.
