      An empty mess of mismanagement

      Great team managers Colleagues are generally friendly and open

      Cons

      Upper management have next to no defined strategy within European branch Barely present HR clearly working not for employee benefit Archaic and outdated IT and CRM systems relying on manual labor over automation Reluctance to hire locally, preference to hire from China Mediocre English from China based teams leading to awkward meetings and impaired communication between teams and regions General lack of developmental and resource support Forced days of being in the office per week no matter how long the commute, and regardless of your actual workload benefits from it or not Unclear, undefined and inconsistent operations that tries to cater to everyone, and accomplishes nothing

      Pros

      Medical benefits are very good, pay is decent, colleagues are friendly, great teamwork, workload generally manageable.

      Cons

      Lack of growth opportunities, rigid management. Not the best environment for local colleagues. Performance reviews only there to make things unnecessarily competitive, measuring only hard skills and raw output metrics, not teamwork and communcation skills. Info sharing meetings given completely in Chinese, causing those weaker in Mandarin to miss out on useful knowledge.
