Pros

Very compassionate & caring staff. Helpful to newbies, learning the ropes. Easy to approach management. Many parties and meals provided by Administrator. (bty, Administrator was extremely easy one the eyes😉)

Cons

Seems to be a lot of turn over.Someone leaving every two weeks. I wasnt there long enough (by choice) an annual review or raise. But, talking to leaving staff, it was all about the $. I'm told they ask for a raise, and are told there is not room in budget. Employee says their going to look else ware, and they soon put in their notice to move on. One nurse told me upon my hire, this is a good place to learn as a new grad, and then take your experience and move on.

Pros

I have been in this facility at Lompoc Skilled and rehab center for about 7 years and been with generations for almost 2 yrs since they bought the facility , I know change is not easy and I am a patient person and loving person and so far there's has only been a few times that I felt happy to work here and that's thanks to the physical therapy group ,because they're the ones next to the cnas that actually make a positive outcome on our patients lives

Cons

Dealing with fake unprofessional management group that only like to make themselves feel better about themselves more than others, making fake promises, nurses that are unorganized and makes it hard for the other team to make completed care , not payed enough, had a lot of our staff left, always challenged(short) this facility's work ethics not great, they hire just about anyone with liscence or certification , it needs a new management team somebody that has more experience and cares about his staff ,

Pros

Have not found any pros

Cons

Poor scheduling, poor treatment of employees, has a mission statement that they don't seem to follow. Foreign language spoken around employees by some of the management. Treatment of residents is only addressed if family voices complaints of care given. Staffing issues causing employees to work more hours or take shifts they are not normally assigned to.
