      Pros

      Helping people make decisions during the worst time of their lives.

      Cons

      No Support, Upper and Regional and Branch leadership is horrible to employees. There is constant pressure to get kore numbers. That is what they think og patients. Understaffed because they work clinical team to death. They treat the sales team horribly

      Pros

      Fellow employees were like family and wonderful to work with. Really cared for their patients and their job. Loved our staff team.

      Cons

      Revolving door of higher ups from Corporate always coming in. Closed our branches in Monterey and Capitola as soon as we worked our butts off to pass Medicare surveys which we did with flying colors this August. Assuming they wanted us to pass just so Gentiva could close the doors without taking a financial hit which they did last month in September.

      Strong mission on paper: providing compassionate end-of-life and home health care Opportunities to work remotely in some roles Dedicated colleagues across field offices who truly care about patient outcomes

      Abrupt mass layoffs without notice or transparency Severance packages offered and then rescinded without explanation WARN Act compliance appears to be ignored, affecting hundreds of employees Income not properly reported to unemployment systems, delaying benefits Poor internal communication and lack of support for terminated employees Senior leadership avoids accountability when legal or ethical concerns are raised High turnover in HR and leadership — toxic cycle of “fixers” brought in, then removed
