Pros

Work/Life balance is phenomenal. I haven't ever met a long-time GoEngineer leader who has given anybody a hard time about taking time off to be there for family outside of work. It really is an environment where you are given clear objectives as an employee along with the autonomy and freedom to accomplish those objectives. Leaders and managers have always been open to hard conversations and and listening and understanding. It's a great place to work with great people!

Cons

GoEngineer's growth has been very aggressive over the last several years. They recently made their largest acquisition ever and doubled in size. There are huge differences between the cultures of the two companies, which naturally leads to some growing pains. I know there are a lot of negative reviews on here recently, but trust me when I say those views are not shared by the majority of the company. If you walked into any GoEngineer location today and just talked to the employees, you'd find that the majority of them love working at GoEngineer.

Pros

I work at goengineer for quite a while, to see it start off as a sub 100 employee group to 400+ over a decade. I personally had the best mentors, boss and coworkers anyone could ever ask for. My manager was supportive, constructive, called you out if there was bs or you screwed up, but most importantly encouraged me to learn and taught me new things (engineering design and life things) every day, week/ month. Someone recently mentioned in a review that goengineer makes rockstars... They help you find your superpower for sure... But a rockstar is just as much on the employee as much as it's enabled by the employer. In society today, everyone gets a trophy mentality is crap. You have to want it, practice it every day, then one day you will find yourself right where you always wanted to be. Goengineer 100 percent helped me with this.

Cons

Generally, it's tough to list cons, it's a very fair workplace. You could say medical is weak, but each year goengineer tries to do better for the dollar, I feel like that's a lot of work. I would be nitpicking mostly There is a feeling that you will promote faster if you live in salt lake city and work at hq

Pros

Friendly coworkers who collaborate to meet common goals and truly have your back Room to grow and continued learning Opportunities for volunteering outside the organization and travel

Cons

We gained a whole other company and doubled in size. Communication hasn’t been great coming from those making the decisions. Not all processes are working smoothly and managers should be open to listening and working together to make necessary changes.
