Not the company they tell you they are

Pros

Most people there are very kind and good to work with

Cons

Favoritism is rampant Inclusivity is not as big of a priority as they say it is. They scheduled their company-wide retreat at a winery and not everyone drinks. It was also scheduled during Yom Kippur. Management and HR preach that you are supported, but act otherwise Will be talked about behind your back if you fall behind, instead of being supported. I was told by management early on that I did not ask for help enough, but when later asking for help, it was never granted and seen as a negative.

If you like leftover food from "clients", this is the place.

Pros

None that I could see

Cons

1. No hierarchy. Almost everyone hired is out of college and that puts everyone's skill sets on the same level. 2. Titles doesn't mean anything here. They are just handed out just to make you feel happy. Knowledge and title definitely doesn't commensurate here. 3. Managers and upper management (directors) lack vision. Moto is just to get things working for the clients. Things get boring and monotonous after a short while. 4. Sometimes lunch is basically leftover food from client meetings. No catered lunches (which is weird for a company in NYC). 5. Yearly reviews are biased and are completely based on your behavior (how friendly you are to other colleagues) NOT performance based. 6. PTO is 10 days! This is just plain outright ridiculous. 7. Unnecessary events scheduled by company to make up for low pay and limited PTO. 8. Company consists of mostly young females hired right out of college and are paid poorly. (starting to think that's the reason for hiring from college) 9. HR is supposed to be the point-of-contact for people outside the company and help people within the company. I absolutely don't see that happening.

I'm sorry I failed to meet your expectations as an employer and will do my best to learn from your review so we don't repeat these mistakes. We absolutely will work hard to improve how we communicate our vision and execute against reviews, titles, compensation, vacation time, events and the overall management of our team. Thanks for your feedback. It is noted and taken to heart. Thanks, Al Muzaurieta

Beautiful office in central location, annual company retreat at exotic resorts, free nespresso and other beverage machines, frequent lunch and learns

Cons

Management bullies. No real HR department ... Chief Happiness Officer? Not so much.
