Pros

They offer a great benefits package, that your not able to actually benefit from for two years.

Cons

Everyone there hates their job but is stuck there. Extremely man dominated and older employees are bitter to new or younger employees. Most position require much more duties than in the job description. They always talk about moving up, but unless someone likes you it will never happen.

Pros

Graybar has a full line of products to offer and is very concerned about excellent customer service.

Cons

To me, it seemed like a very somber place to work. I would walk in every morning, upbeat and cheerful, saying good morning, etc. Unfortunately, however, it was always "crickets." No response - seems like a negative atmosphere, like an under current of anger. Maybe it was my approach - not sure about that - but, it seemed like it was very difficult to "break in." There were lots of folks who got along with each other - but, again, it was difficult for me. Take this into consideration when you evaluate working here. It's my view - and I was fired.

Pros

There are many decent vendor trainings that they host or send you to. Graybar has good benefits, company car, laptop and cell phone.

Cons

The pay wasn't great. Locked in to a low salary for a couple years, then give you extreme budgets to get too. Pay doesn't reflect amount of margin dollar sales. Not a lot of support. Some management is lacking. Many unnecessary meetings.
