Pros

Great people to work with and some good learning opportunities.

Cons

Imagine working at a company for 18 months, and due to some mindbender of a policy, the baseline salary for new-hires is set to the same rate as your current pay. Then imagine making the same salary as developers with 18 months less experience than you. On top of that, when yearly reviews cone around, and you're finally up for promotion, they don't promote you because sales were too low. You're a developer in this scenario, not a salesperson. But, because you're up for promotion, they lower the amount of your merit increase because "you'll get another raise when you're promoted." So now those developers with 18 months less experience are making more money than you. It makes no sense and is, quite frankly, insulting.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We learn by listening to our employees and take pride in working to address concerns. On the surface, you have a legitimate concern. Situations like this could occur because market forces drive salaries that we offer to our entry-level employees. The competitive wage that was offered to you 18 months ago may not be competitive to attract developers now. We do take great care to retain talent within our workforce with an attractive salary and benefits package. We also take great pride in offering our employees career development utilizing career maps and developmental assistance programs. It does appear that there is some misunderstanding of our quarterly promotion process. Please work directly with your manager, talent management, or another member of leadership regarding the promotion process. Annual Performance Review discussions are also a great time for you and your leader to review your performance during the past year, address goals for the upcoming year, and discuss promotion opportunities as well as merit increases. However, don’t wait for this annual process. Please ensure that you are consistently having open and honest discussions with your manager about priorities, performance and professional development opportunities. Our developers play an integral role in product development, and will be key as we design our next platform. We are always striving to make Greenway Health a better place to work for all of our employees.

Pros

Decent hours. Co-workers are pleasant. Overall positive vibe in the work culture. Professional work environment.

Cons

The pay is below average for many positions. Benefits? You mean the high-deductible health insurance plans put into place by someone with at least a 6-figure salary? There is such a disconnect between the executives and the bottom of the totem pole here. Any way they can save a quick-buck will be immediately explored. Sales, RCM, and Customer support are the only departments here that get any recognition for their work. Yearly raises are negligible unless you hop between departments. Many people in my field have fled this company with no hesitation due to the pay rates. This is a fine company to start a career and gain experience but I do not see myself pursuing this venue too much further. Greenway seems very eager to pull the trigger on laying off their employees which gives an unfortunate feeling of expendability. Overall, I would summarize my experience here thus far as feeling undervalued, underpaid, and underappreciated.

Pros

If you live close to the building, that would be the only positive about working there.

Cons

HPLE...(High potential/Low experience) That is the bafoons that are running this organization. From the first day I walked into the building and met everyone, I knew that I would be leaving as soon as I found another job elsewhere. (which thank God I did.) This place is the worst ran organization I have ever been a part of. From the V.P. down . It's like the leaders do not know a thing about their roles. Its amazing to watch and to have witnessed the hilarious amount of "meetings" daily, weekly, monthly...I was a part of many, many phone conferences that resulted in...wait for it...silence. 12-13 people on the call and no one knows what to do, who is presenting, and who should or should not be involved or speaking. It was pretty amazing to watch these clowns. To summarize: Worst company and leadership I have ever witnessed. Also, watch the really corporate and lame response they come back with after this...

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate you leaving your feedback with our company, and are sad to hear your experience working at Greenway Health was less than positive. We hire HPELs, which are High Potential/ENTRY LEVEL. This means that we are looking for individuals who may not have been in the specific role previously in their career, but possess the natural skill and hard wiring necessary to tackle the task and grow along with our company. We recognize that talent comes from all walks of life, and we feel that industry's barriers to entry are no excuse to keep the right person from the job. We do know that this can lead to some extra time spent training and learning the ins and outs of the role, but we believe the extra effort to be a worthy investment in the future of the healthcare industry. With this in mind, we do offer comprehensive training as well as online training modules that will help them to further develop skills and advance their career on their own time, free of charge. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback, and we wish you the best of success in your future endeavors!
