Worst decision I have ever made

I was put in a very small space 3x3. No connection to anyone. The first couple of days at the job I was yelled alot by my supervisor and told constantly that i should leave leave the engineering field. My boss even said "why say that when we are all going to die one day" whenever i tried to say some ideas. I was always on time and tried my best since H&H was a company i liked. People gossiped alot and even made fun of someone who was pregnant. I sincerely regret working in that negative environment. I highly recommend anyone reading take this seriously and just continue your engineering office in a healthier environment. Zero diversity as well.

We do not currently or in the past have any Cost Engineering positions in our firm. We also do not have any office spaces that are 3x3 and/or not connected with others. very little guidance/mentorship for non-engineers some policies, like no company credit cards for anyone, make work very difficult hard place to be a woman

I am really concerned about your comments, wishing you would have reached out to HR if you felt your workplace difficult. Yes, the company centers around engineers, but we highly value our support staff. We have many women in leadership who would have mentored you, including women in engineering and in support roles (Accounting, Communications, HR). And no, even I don't have a company credit card.
