Pros

I didn’t have any pros working at H&R Block,I have worked at 3 different location and all of them were micro managed as if you are in a high school setting, they pay you a set dollar amount for you qualifications but make you do complex returns that do not meet your qualifications level but you don’t get compensated and bonuses usually go to the employees in higher ranking, if you are starting out as a tax preparer or looking to start their are better companies than H&R BLOCK that compensates more and appreciate their employees. H&R Block does not. They make you pay $35 for courses and tell you that you’ll be compensated for and they don’t. I did over 77 federal returns for H&R Block and I was only compensated 3,000.00 for the entire season no bonuses course paid for out of pocket clocking in at least 40 hours every week plus overtime. $3,000.00
