Pros

Seasonal only so you must work another job for full time work Training is very extensive

Cons

The seasonal nature creates frequent store management changes. Depending on business it can be hard to get clients in some offices

Pros

You can choose your availability. You can train all you want for $35/year. I enjoy working with my fellow tax preparers.

Cons

Management has gone downhill. Poor job of staffing and communicating crucial information. This made work stressful and negatively affected pay. Earning incentive pay is made more difficult each year. It seems to be on a disappointing trajectory. Hopefully a new DGM this year will change this.
