Pros

Learning new tax laws while meeting new clients and taking care of their tax problems.

Cons

Dealing with rude clients. The older senior tax advisors would try to take all new clients, not caring that you have a quota to meet at the end of the tax season. A lot of butt kissers.

Pros

Flexible Hours, a lot of free time during non-peak weeks, friendly personnel. The senior pros are very helpful to the new employees. Possible to gain a lot of tax experience in a short time

Cons

The worst part is probably the fact that the training costs $200 and takes almost 3 months, but the salary is barely above minimum wage for first year tax pros. In addition you are not eligible for bonuses/commissions the first year.
