Pros

Flexible, easy to get hired, great people, good culture. Recommend for part time seasonal work, or to fill time if you're retired or otherwise have time to spare and enjoy people and taxes.

Cons

If you want to grind out a large client base and climb the ranking ladder, you can earn a decent seasonal income after some years. But its not a great place to build a career. Expect to make next to nothing for the first few seasons.

Great Seasonal Job

Pros

Great training structure. Schedule flexibility. Great leadership. I really enjoyed working for H&R Block. I am looking forward to starting again this next tax season!

Cons

The pay can be considered low, but I'd personally rather a low paying job that I love to go into every day than a great paying job that I have to talk myself into showing up every day because they treat you and your fellow employees horribly.
