Pros

It allows flexibility in work schedule, valued education, paid CTEC certification and IRS PTIN. great seasonal work, ok commissions. Paid certification and classes for following years

Cons

Starting out you get paid minimum wage, it takes about 3 years to start making commissions and bonuses. High goals to meet every year

Pros

Great opportunity to learn more about tax laws. Provides opportunity to put apply new educational experiences. Builds client base. Decent pay. Teamwork is good. Advancement in pay is based on learning tax laws and proving that knowledge base.

Cons

Only seasonal work. Would work for them all year if the opportunity was available but it is based on supply and demand. April 15 is the end of the tax season. Few people try to file after that date, thus the supply and demand decreases dramatically.

Pros

Great history of customer focus remains cornerstone of the company. Large company with a family-like atmosphere. Good work-life balance at corporate office.

Cons

Although field offices remain the "bread and butter" of the organization, the salary range and respect shown to the "field" associates is not equal to that shown to associates at the WHQ. As a field associate my salary in a management role was 1/2 of what I made in a management role at WHQ.
