      Pros

      Depending on the store location you have potential to build a nice clientele that will come to you the following year. The experienced tax associates are very helpful to the first year associates when it comes to preparing more complex tax returns.

      Cons

      First year the pay is less and you don't get a commission bonus until your second year. If you work in an office with multiple more experienced tax associates there's a good chance you won't get much clientele to your desk.

      Pros

      This was a awesome place to work. I enjoyed working with the employees and I enjoyed the work that we did. I also liked the pay for the position.

      Cons

      Management was horrible and human resources was even worse. They think that calling and asking for feedback about a position is being aggressive in the hiring process and they will block you from being hired because of it.

      Pros

      I love the flexibility, growth opportunities, amazing office level leadership, ongoing educational opportunities, open-door policy and my coworkers. I am constantly being offered management training, instructor training, and other career growth opportunities. This job is definitely what you make of it!

      Cons

      Pay is low in the beginning. There is a certification process in order to get higher pay, but it is doable.
