Pros

The tax training was excellent; One is well prepared to do tax returns. Unfortunately as a first year Pro, you won't be doing many taxes.

Cons

After 3 months of training and being sold the opportunity to work seasonal, and having benefits, you don't get hours and therefore the benefits. With the close of tax season, I didn't make it onto the final schedule because of a sluggish tax year.

Pros

You control when you are able to work. You can move into a tax professional position, for really cheap. You can get benefits like a full time job, for a seasonal position. My manager has a lot of confidence in me, and gives me extra duties.

Cons

It is a seasonal position.

Pros

Generally a good place to work.

Cons

Extreme seasonality of business leads tends to lead to in-season changes and modifications of plans, regardless of leadership's intent to remain the course during season.
