Pros

flexible with hours. I did learn a lot. If you always wanted to knwo more about taxes, this will do it.

Cons

No pay for going to training sessions. Most first year tax associates make $9 hour. After that, you make more if you get clients to come to you because you can make so much per return.

Great way to learn about taxes, helpful friendly co-workers, great feedback about performance, policy changes/notices are notified to employees daily, customer satisfaction/appreciation high, able to grow and learn within the company, resources always available

Cons

No clients during downtimes, some senior associates may be snobby at times (but most are more than willing to help)
