Pros

Flexible hours, training, great people

Cons

Sometimes there is way too many hours necessary, but this is just the field of work, not the business. Other downsides include a very large district, and the sole fact it is corporate. The district does get together for various events, but not often enough to know everyone

Pros

The money with a short working season.

Cons

If you get a bad office you will not make any money. Just shove the return out the door. Not enough people to do the work during the busy time. If you work summer service you have to deal with all the mistakes others make. I work for a franchise and the owners only care about the money and what big trips they can take. Most people that been their seven or eight years can only do a simple return. If you come in with experience they will not give credit if outside HR Block even if higher experience.
