Pros

Nice co-workers. Very Flexible hours.

Cons

First year tax associates make $9 an hour with no bonus or commission potential. They change your schedule without telling you. Very unprofessional. After taking their tax course, it's pretty much a train yourself situation. Seasoned tax pros are too busy to help. VERY frustrating!!

Pros

Flexible Hours, a lot of free time during non-peak weeks, friendly personnel. The senior pros are very helpful to the new employees. Possible to gain a lot of tax experience in a short time

Cons

The worst part is probably the fact that the training costs $200 and takes almost 3 months, but the salary is barely above minimum wage for first year tax pros. In addition you are not eligible for bonuses/commissions the first year.
