Nothing that I can think of

- barely receive any training - clients are usually angry - feels like you're scamming customers with how high prices are - upper management does not care

They don’t offer any training. The older tax pros are horrible money-grabbing people. Constant bullying by the older tax pros and management wont address the situation. They want you to answer the phones like you’re the receptionist if you dont have a huge clientele. They will steal the new clients from the newer tax pros! They try to make you work seven days a week because turnover is extremely high. I think this is one of the worst companies to work for. They do not give you supplies, they expect you to purchase them for yourself and write it off on your next year's taxes. I would not work for these people again to save my life. I would not work for these people again to save my life. I have been in the Accounting field for almost thirty years and never worked with people like this.

Inconsistent schedule, Tax pros unprofessional

Management cares nothing for their preparers and assume that they can easily replace you as you rapidly burn out. Money is their god and statistics are their idols. Unfortunately, they are constantly behind in their technology so be prepared to suffer through innumerable glitches and shut-downs.

Poor pay, little to no training, dealing with angry and impatient customers, unrealistic expectations, and corporate literally doesn't care about your work experience as long as they're making a profit. It gets increasingly more stressful as you near the end of the season.
