H&R Block reviews about "training"

Very low salaries compared to other tax companies.

Even if u train up and learn all there is about taxes u still won’t make enough money…. They charge a lot per return and u earn max $10-20 per tax return plus minimum wage and they probably won’t schedule u full time hours unless you been there 10 years and it’s hard to grow ur book of business because the veterans will try to get new clients and u have to fight to get any clients for yourself. Not worth the money or the stress

This company does not care about people. They pay $11 per hour and offer a bonus structure which is net of hourly wages. In other words, the bonus is almost worthless. Systems are horrible. I wonder if tax returns are accurate.

During peak the hours are long

pay is not as much

Tax preparing positions are seasonal

Terrible training with high expectations

No cons! Easy work and great training

The pay is quite low (minimum wage) considering the amount of training that is required to get hired.
