We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear you had this experience. Some of the points you made are very concerning to us as they do not align with our values as a company. The development of our associates is very important to us, and it’s one of the reasons we are investing in building a new Leadership Development Center in Atlanta. By empowering our associates to grow professionally while providing competitive benefits and compensation , we know our business will also reap the rewards. We encourage all associates to reach out to their HR partner on these types of issues, and they will work hard to resolve them . We wish you the best in the next step of your career.

Horrible Leadership

Pros

Great place to work and learn prior to going public.

Cons

Never experienced this level of nepotism. Horrible leadership with lots of in fighting amongst the VPs with CEO leadership fostering a toxic environment. Many of the leadership has "resigned" which means laid off in many cases. Current CEO is out of touch and only cares about the stock price and leads by intimidation. Sad to see all the negative views from the people who really make a company a success.

We are sorry to hear you had this experience. We welcome all feedback, both positive and negative, and we are concerned about some of the points you have made. What you have described is not in line with our values. At HD Supply, we have an Open Door Policy and work hard to foster an environment of universal trust. Our company code of ethics specifically prohibits nepotism, and we take this information very seriously. HD Supply’s Compliance Program is designed to ensure that policies and programs are in place to prevent, detect, and respond to business practices that may either violate Company policies and/or applicable laws, or otherwise compromise our integrity. We do not take any of our business decisions lightly, and we understand our decisions do impact people’s lives. As we shared earlier this year, we made the strategic decision to move our San Diego headquarter office to Atlanta, and, regrettably, when you make these types of transitions, you often lose good people who have made significant contributions to our success. We appreciate your service at HD Supply, and we wish you the best in the next step of your career. Thank you for your candor and for bringing your concerns to our attention.
