You can sit all day and do nothing and wont get in trouble.

Cons

Horrible company to work for! Only gives 20 to 30 cent pay raise a year. Supervisors pick favorites. Employees harass and bully other employees and nothing gets done about it. They make the rules up as they go.

9/80 work schedule allows for frequent 3 day weekends.

Cons

HDT is a government contractor. When there is no government programs to work they have no work. HDT has been continuing to purchase companies and add overhead and is no longer able to compete on price for contracts. Management has turned towards micromanaging to maintain vanishing profits. Every year is a bad year so don't expect a good raise regardless of your effort. Salary and vacation time is non-negotiable. Expect to work 3 years to get just 3 weeks of vacation.

4/10 work schedule. Get good experience.

Cons

Management has a stick up their rearend 24/7 and make it intimidating to even bring up an issue. Very toxic work environment. If you need a job then come to work here, otherwise I wouldn’t seek this place out. Plus the road to get in to the plant is limited to only one exit/entrance for the entire industrial park so it’s a hassle to try to leave on the afternoons.
