Pros

I like working around the patients

Cons

There are two women that I know took her 6-week to have her baby she worked all the way up almost until her due date when she came back she went from full-time to part-time then when she went to do her vacation they told her she couldn't because she took her for 6 weeks another lady was told that the that the paperwork was put in so she can prepare to have her baby so when she come back her job will still be she found out that the supervisor never did the paperwork she lied so that lady called her cell and found out the supervisor never faxed over information after this lady has been having money taken out of her paycheck every 2 weeks this company maybe even in this region and Myrtle Beach South Carolina is Despicable they are racist they play Plantation mind games and also when it was time to give out raises you had not to have no written up on you right before the Ravens were to be given out they found a reason to write everybody up is this not despicable if you choose this company to work for make sure you have a back-up plan this is something that cannot be argued when a woman goes to have a baby she is to be treated with respect they do not care

Pros

Decent pay for management. Not great for the job demands, but adequate. Good benefits.

Cons

Many cons. HHS has the potential to be great. It seems to teeter on the edge of "we want to be great" and dysfunction. This company has a severe lack of advancement opportunities for housekeepers and poor pay. It is difficult to manage people who truly have no goals for themselves or buy in for the company. Local fast food companies pay more money. This is a difficult job. Must be able to truly multitask the demands of the hospital as well as the demands of HHS. High stress. You have to be creative in motivating your team to perform a thankless job where they are often treated as the bottom of the food chain, when the reality is that their job is so incredibly important. The job is great, the people are difficult. There is no true review process to coach and develop team members.

Pros

Training was satisfactory for Assistant Directors.

Cons

Terrible company...lost major contract in St. Louis due to HHS administration (VP, President). Hire only family and friends with no skills or ability to sustain their positions in the upper management of company. Have no idea what they are doing.
